Distortion To The Max

i just got a new car and it has an infinity sound system in it for the door speakers and tweets and with the original head-unit it wouldn't distort. after i put my kenwood excelon x791 it distorts after vol 20 out of 35. it doesn't distort if i put it on the 2 zone setting but then the sub doesn't play. the head-unit has LPF for fronts and backs but it didnt help and the -8 bass still did nothing. whats the best and cheapest way to stop them from distorting?

alright i've done some thinking and now i need some advice.

if i was to buy an amp where would the tweets go? i see a front and rear. i don't think they have a crossover on the tweets now.

If i don't need an amp to make them work right i don't wanna buy one, i believe they have a factory amp on them haven't found it yet but going to look tomorrow.

can you post some links to the stuff i need.

thats b/c the factory system is amplified.

that's what i thought I'm amping it 2 times from HU and factory amp, is there a way to stop the HU itself or the factory? I mean this is driving me nuts

or is there any other solutions?

Run an aftermarket amp with new wires from speakers to aftermarket amp or put your stock HU back in.

Not sure if the actual stock amplifier has a crossover built into it or if it has an inline crossover...
