jcm1689 Posted November 6, 2008 Report Share Posted November 6, 2008 what he said but after some testing with the volt meter turns out my amp has a 12V protection feature and sometimes when it hits real hard it dips below it and that is what is causing it to shut off.... a new battery and alt should take care of it but that will be a while. also you have to remember that the sub is actually sitting at .7 ohms. amp might not like that......just a thought R.I.P.
