MXmike800 Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 for those of you who have messed around with the alpine type r or are currently running them what have you found the best frequency to tune at? i built my box to hold 4 type r 12" tuned at 34hz. i dont think it gets low enough for me i love the low bass notes. just looking for some feedback on what you guys have yours tuned at thanks mike
JPagan Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 My friend has a 12 inch type r with a 2.0 cubic foot box tuned to 32 hz, it has very good sound quality and hits the lows good.
Stephen Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 mines at 34hz also it gets down and murders the lows. you can cook bacon shirtless if you're not a pussy...lol not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be. DC POWER
