jonathancullen89
i dont understand how voltage drop would blow a sub, if anything it would blow the amp. i think you where sending it a clipped signal. i love dc, so i vote dc Quote 1992 cavalier build 1992 blazer s10 kenwood cd hifonics hfi2500d 6 soon to be 12 12" hifonics hfi12d4's shit ton-o-wire Blurred Vision Audio Team SMD feedback/refs. clicky!-

DeepsplJeep
I like the FI BTL 15 but they recomend 2000 rms for it. would my memphis 1100 be enough to move it right? the new BTL looks nasty Quote 98 Jeep Wrangler 33x13.50 super swamper LTB's Memphis M3 15" Memphis MCD1000 Optima yellowtop D34/78 Bass Race 129.9 (LBZ Duramax in the future)

DeepsplJeep
With 1100 watts.... a BTL is not for you. get a BL or if sound quality is more important get a Q you dont think i could run a BTL on it for a couple months until i could afford to put another mcd1000 on it? it would still pound wouldnt it? i was just thinkin a BTL would be a good step because a fully loaded BTL is cheaper than a memphis mojo. Hawaiianbasshead808
you dont think i could run a BTL on it for a couple months until i could afford to put another mcd1000 on it? it would still pound wouldnt it? i was just thinkin a BTL would be a good step because a fully loaded BTL is cheaper than a memphis mojo. The BTL would be okay with that one amp you have, but it will def. slam with another one added on. I think you should be careful running one amp though, it may cause the amp to clip since the sub can handle twice the power. I think you should be aite though. The BTL is a great sub, and the memphis mojo is expensive. After you're done with your M3, possibly look into the BTL. It'll do yah good with 2000 w.
