osixfrontier Posted October 15, 2008 Report Share Posted October 15, 2008 you say you drained the old fuel.....how did you drain it by dropping the tank? did you put enuff gass in theirfor the pump to be picking any fuel up....id cylce the key 10-15 times then try to start it.... inbetween the pump and the throttle body only has the filter..... 00_XJ Posted October 16, 2008 Author Report Share Posted October 16, 2008 Yes I'm sure I pulled the right line from the throttle body, it was the line coming from the filter. I drained it by dropping the gas tank, and I only put about 3 gallons into it. Could it be the fuel pump relay by anychance? I'll trying putting more gas in it tomorrow and trying that technique if that doesn't work I'll replace the fuel line. I did not read the topic before and said check fuel pressure. now i read it and i now say check fuel pressure. I'm stumped...I changed the battery, starter, fluids, and spark plugs and it will not crank. It just rolls over and over trying to start. I can hear the fuel pump so I know it's running. I don't understand how the fuel pump can be pushing the gas all the way out the filter but not to the throttle body? I guess I can go ahead and replace it though.
