Mars Blackmon
Ok my computer wont stay in stand by mode. I scanned my computer for viruses and i have none. I unplugged my mouse and keyboard and it still comes back on. Wat can be the problem? Thanks.
AI James
could be a virus or it could be a program you inadvertently forgot runs in the background. usually if a computer is working on something it wont go into standby. check your processes and see if somethigns going that you dont recognize and so forth

yanzi
Maybe the problem could be with your graphics drivers, I was having that problem too. I updated my graphics drivers and resolved my problem and can make stand by to my pc ;D
Amalan
it could be something running in the background like accordman said id run hijackthis and see whats running. itll pick up everything running in the background but this is only for viruses. just go into the task manager and kill processes that arent necessary for windows.
