cichlidfort
Right now I have two Kicker L7's off a BXI Brutus 2607d getting about 1000 watts rms each. The box I have it in is in on of the photos below in my signiture. The box I have is a L-shaped box. Specs of the box I have now: 43 inches long 20.75 inches tall 19 inches deep 6.4 cubic ft before displacement tuned to 32.7 hz Square port- 5 inches Square port area-96.25 My box is slowly starting to rattle apart and I want to build a new one similar to the one I have now. The box I have is LITERALLY the maxium I can fit in my trun. There's really only a few inches between the box and my back door of my Jeep. So, for my new box, what design should I go with. I kinda want to try something different. Any ideas? Quote 2008 Chevy Impala (undercover cop style) Setup in the makings

Decaf
currently without knowing how its double baffled or bacing used i got [email protected] w/16.69sqin/cuft port thats a little small on cuft and a little much in port for daily imo... if i was changing the box i would make the box 1" deeper and .25" taller... if so 43*20*21 4.75" wide port 32.73hz 13.4sqin/cuft 7cuft after displacement besides bracing(6.9cuft@33hz after .1cuft) the extra ~.6cuft per sub should help its low end and lower the peakyness the l7s have in small boxes ive used l7s alot and the seem to like 4-4.5cuft best

We double baffled it by just adding another baffle on top of the one by nailing and gluing it down. With the demensions I have now, I can't really make the box any deeper. What about port design? I was talking with one of my buddies and he was saying that I should have the port in the middle and have a little more port area. I have a L-shaped port design so I was thinking I could try something different?
