banginAltima
I think you need to make the box a little bigger. With the dimensions you have now your box will be right at 5 cubic feet. Those sub will probably like 6 cubes or more... Quote If you build it, db's will come... NSPL World Record Holder Trunk 0-1800 watts---147.9 with 1722 clamped watts @ 40Hz(9-20-09). David
you need more than 6.5 cubes, the speaker and port will eat up some of that box space
raytard
6.5 is reccomended, but you can always go a little more or less your port will likely take up a cubic foot or two depending on tuning, so plan on going a bit bigger if you end up with less than 6.5, and a smaller than usual port, u get a "safer" box, where the output is decreased, but the subs can handle more power and are harder to bottom out, but overall they arent as loud and quality suffers a bit going too large, it gets louder, and probably lower, but its much easier to do damage to the subs Quote Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC
