Optimal Size And Tuning For 18s

Recommended Posts

What would be the recommnded enclosure size and tuning for 3 18 level 4s in a wall powered by 3 sundown 1500s and how much port area for streetbass, i still want fairly high numbers on the mic though. tuned to 30hz my car peeks at 40hz It says 8 cubes for spl on the dc website.

cheers guys.

id go just a little bit smaller than 8 cubes per. since you are overpowering.

maybe 20 cubes total, after port and sub displacements.

i would go with 4-5 cuft (per sub) @ 32 hz. but there is only one way to find out what works the best. TEST TEST AND TEST AGAIN. and also you say your car peaks at 40 hz? is this from the trunk? cuz that will change when you build the wall.

Need any thing chromed? Hit me up!!!
