Looking to get my 1st set of components for my doors.

Im liking these mainly cuz of the light on the cone lol :P. Are they any good? has anyone ever tried them? I am looking into getting a relatively cheap set of comps just to give my system a little bit better mids and highs. plus theres time where i cant play the BTL and my stock speakers make me sick lol. I looking into a Crunch amp for them aswell thats 100rms x4... probably over rated but i dont have much cash.

I just want info since i wont be buying anything for a bit because i need to get my alternator and rear battery.

If these arent good for the price, what is good for a low price?

Let me know guys, Thanks

dude, i'm running these comps in my front doors and i love them. i don't have the lights working cause i don't want to run the wires to my existing leds in my car cause i'm way too lazy, but you can't beet them for the price. i'm pry going to get some 5.25 comps for my dash soon. i've got the 5.25 coax in my back doors and ilove tose too.

Running them in my dad's front doors....the midbass is a little lacking (but his doors aren't deadened) but the highs are extremely smooth not harsh or bright at all.

Your gonna need atleast 100wrms to get these things moderately loud that amp only does 125wMAX which means likely 55wrms....not enough.

yea i was thinking the same thing and getting some 6.5" AQ comps too but just the comps are $200 and the amp will prolly be close to that aswell so its a bit out of my price range

You get what you pay for :friends: I'd jsut save and save and get what you really want.

x2

you'd be happier to wait and save and get something good rather than buying something cuz the cash is in your pocket and not enjoying it down the road

Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build

monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now)
