mbdblue Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 So I designed my own alt bracket....Im stuck in jury duty for the next 2 weeks and instead of sittin around, I decided to bring a sketch book and design some stuff for my car hahaha. so I came up with this idea. The bracket will have to be custom made by me and a friend but its pretty basic...the good part is, I dont have to screw with the top mount since it will only need a tight fitting spacer to make sure it doesnt slide back and forth.... basically, the big bolt in the middle, or "adjustment bolt" threads into the bracket and pushes against the second plate pulling the whole alt forward. the 2 bolts to the sides of that will just screw into the plate to keep everything secure and from movement once the belt is tight....I hope I explained and drew it well enough for you guys to let me know if its a good idea or not...
