a_steezy Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 there customer sevice blows not sure if you've read my last posts, i'll make this quick i sent my amp in for the 5th time to be repaired, everytime i get it, it goes out within a day. got it back tonight... let me mention the fourth time they promised a brand new amp... got back the same amp, NPF (no problem found) so sending it in the 5th time i said this is absolute bullshit. the lady's like omg im so sorry we didn't send you a new amp, i gurantee you'll get a new amp, i'll gurantee it. today got it back... SAME FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT AMP!!!! open it up, look at there repair tag, which usually said NPF, and there were 11... 11 repaired pieces, are you fucking kidding me??? it took them that long to find the 11 broken/burnt out pieces???? so i hook it up... no output at all, greaaaaaaat same fucking thing... so i figure im going to go to my buddies house use a DMM and test everything... everything was good just no output, so we hooked it up to his two CVX 12's... no output... plugged his amp in my car... worked fine all i can say is this is the biggest bullshit i've gone through and will never deal with kicker again. i'm calling back tomorrow with my mom... yaaaa mommy ha, and i no longer want another kicker amp as i've been guranteed a new one twice now, i'm simply going to ask for my money back, and they can deal with the kicker authorized dealer i purchased it from as they wont take it back... fuck you kicker, i own so much of your shit and i keep getting fucked also, who's heard of the lemon law??? it's mainly for cars, but it works for electronics, if you can't fix a returned product for the 3rd time you have to refund in full or if the customer would like they can have there broken product replaced on the plus side, anyone wanting to get rid of a sundow saz3000d??? sorry for the bitching i just feel i'm in the right and have been dealt with, with the worst service from a repatible company '98 Dodge Durango 5.9L 5% front windows, 2.5% on all backs Alpine CDA-9883 Kicker ZX350.4 Kicker KS650's in all doors Kicker 1/0 hyperflex

I mean your wiring sending a faulty signal to the input of the amp, bad deck, broken/pinched speaker wire from the amp to the sub (happened to me before) I refuse to believe your the only person in history to get the same issue 5 times I would install it in a buddies car first, make sure it works if it works, take it to YOUR car something is wrong here, and I dont think its kicker and Iam not even a kicker fan I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

Forevrbumpn Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 but its very possible that you are blowing the amps in your car, then when you switch to your friends car, you couldnt tell the difference friends car comes first I say I definitly say check everything double check, triple check car off, ignition on, car turned on see if there any voltage spikes when you turn your car on and off make sure remote is 12volts plus, closer to 13 would work perfect, closer to 10v you may have problems getting the internal on/off switch working, yet you may see lights comming on, you will see lights come on if remote is off, yet voltage is going thru the RCAs many things to look at besides the very basics Kicker is testing these amps before they ship them out, and Iam sure with YOU they are triple checking UNLESS they have some new rookie repairing amps over there, not paying attention, or testing I have a ritual called "terminator". Guest xXxTeamKickerxXx Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Why dont you get a rockford amp? im a kicker fan myself and i aint never had problems with anything from kicker i got a 15" solo baric l7 dual 0 gauge amp kit 1000.1 kicker amp and a 4 channel to my 6x9s and 5-1/4s no problem with anything from them. Stop sending it back obviously they aint goin to send you a new one, my advice would be just to get something new rockford 1000.1 puts out more power anyway look it up, do some research stop being cheap dont get new-used shit...... kicker all the way!! oh yea if you do send it back try it in someone else's car first........
