OK let me start by saying that i am tottaly new to the hole car audio stuff but i know some what about it. i own a pioneer avic f90bt HU and looking for a 15in fi btl im going to power that btl with a HIFONICS BRUTUS BXi2608d SUPER D-CLASS MONO AMPLIFIER wich would be attached to a seperate battery (a batcap 2000) and for the mids and highs i havent really decided but im looking at either pioneer 6x9 or infinity reffrence or kappa witch i heard are better but the thing is i dont know what kind of amp should i get to power the mids and highs. i know that the PIONEER TS-A6992R is 460 Watts max power and lets say i was to get another pair so total it would be 920watts because i think its 460watts for the pair max power and i recently bought some rockford fosgate p1t tweeters which i have no clue where to connect them to.

my question is-

is this a good setup? would i need another battery? do i need a capacitor? where do i plug in the tweeters? wat watt amp should i get?

some one please help me...

I am running a Hifonics ZXI6408 on my alpine type r's. It pushes 85 rms and sounds good. You dont need to max out rms on mids and highs to get good sound.

And as long as you you get a high amp alt, atleast 220 amp run your batteries parallel you should not need a cap, as far as tweet???? I just buy component set so there is an input for the crossover then two outputs one for tweet and one for mid. Other wise they would need a seperate channel cuz they need to be crossed over different

I run hifonics class-d amps for sub, but for front staging I prefer class a/b or better. and yes I realize that hifonics makes class a/b, I just like others like rockford, usamps, zapco, pheonix gold, orion (old school) xtr amps. You can find old school usamps, orion all over ebay for cheap and they sound great!
