Need Help With Building A Computer

alright, now you have me wondering about sli. what is it? will it allow me to have 2monitors hooked up and have something different on each one? if not, how can i do that?

sli is just putting two video cards on one board. yes you can hook up two monitors to it but you can also do that with a single card

SLI = teh sex

I was skeptical about the performance promised, but I did actually see ~2x power increase graphically.

As far as the 2 monitor thing, just to clarify, until the recent driver update, you could not use 2 monitors with SLI enabled. however, now it works fine from what I've read, I dont have a second monitor to test it on.

As far as the whole hard drive things... I have had nothing but trouble with my 1.5TB Seagate 7200.11 SATA drive.... more specifically I hate windows with a passion.

I prefer XFX nVidia cards over MSI or EVGA, prolly cause I have 2. Havent had trouble with them, overclocked, SLI

my other comp is a mac.

I just built mine (originally) for CAD

Just like

I got subs (originally) just to add a tad more bass

Both have gotten out of hand
