Didn't know if it was under rated or over rated amp thats all. and my point stands if your a noob why would i tell you to overpower your subwoofer so you can most likely fry it. just because a sub is underrated a lil doesnt mean that everyone can throw half rms extra on it and think its just going to be hunky dory. AI James Posted November 12, 2008 Report Share Posted November 12, 2008 well you dont leave it at zero so im sure you use the gain. i wasnt refering to turning it up and down up and down. if you dont know what your doing and are new (as you say you are) then dont put 1600rms over rms on them.
