candyman74
ok im making a box for 4 hifonics 12 squares. im going to put 2 in their own camber. now the port they call for is 12.5x4x24. so my question is do i just double the port area making it 12.5x8? will this work or not. they need 3.5cu ft each if that helps. If it calls for 12.5 by 4 for each sub, yes you double it. The last number is normally length...that stays the same. Edit: you double the 4 inches to 8, yes. or 12.5 times 4 equals 50 square inches of port. For two subs you need 100 square inches. As long as you get 50 square inch for each sub you can make the port size anything you want...ex. 20 by 5 for two subs.
