Memphisman Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 i have 2 amps running in my car and both work fine i got this other Pioneer GM7200m amp, i went to hook it up to test it the indication light turns on, but no sound comes out of the speakers the ground, the + wire, and the remote are all fine, and i have tryed the 2 different pairs of RCA's that i have i have messed with the gain, crossover, bass boost, and just about everything i know to do is the amp broken? or is there anything else that i can try?
Guest Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 if your bridging it, make sure you have the wires in the correct place to bridge
DUBIE Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 maybe speaker terminals from amp are burnt..
Memphisman Posted November 16, 2008 Author Report Posted November 16, 2008 the speakers are not being bridged, i am just trying to get the amp to work. there is a way to hook it up using the speaker input, instead of RCA, im hoping that its just the RCA connection has gone bad, but i think that the speaker output is burnt out. i checked it with a multimeter when it was hooked up and there was no current running to the terminals
