SPLGEO Posted January 16, 2007 Report Share Posted January 16, 2007 The colossus should be in either the end of this week or monday of next week. I need to get the eletrical system up to par. I don't have the full amount of money for the Alt. from dom yet. I am going to pick up another of the Werker 1125cca batterys for $75 to put in the back. The Colossus accepts up to a 2 gauge wire. Yet I know 2 gauge is only rated for around 240 amps. I will have the battery in the back, about 16" away from the amp. Is it ok to run 2 gauge? or would i need to run 1/0 with a reducer( and do they make one to go from 1/0 to 2 i have only seen 1/0 to 4?)? or from experance can 1/0 be shoved into the + and - of the colossus?
