ive got a set of kicker ds 6&1/2'' coaxels in my doors n the tweets aint loud enulf so i added a pair of q-power chrome tweets to em, my coax's are 4ohm and the tweets 4ohm, when wired in parallel does that make it 2ohm off my headunit or does that only offect subs? j/w

r u using bass blockers between the 6.5 and the additional tweet? if so the ohm load stays the same. if not then its 2 ohms.

hmmm, i dont use no external xovers i use the one in my headunit but i guess i'll add some thankx for the info

put a dmm on it and find out.

ok do this for me get a multi-meter and try to read a ohm load on damn near any tweeter you find then holla back and tell me the results

for some reason i cant meter my tweets, my other speakers meter just fine dunno why the tweets wont im usein a gb instruments gdt-11 meter, ima halfto try somethin else but to  :cold: to go outside n take off my doorpannel to check, maby when its a warmer day
