Toxiccasper Posted November 25, 2008 Author Report Posted November 25, 2008 Ya I noticed it goes back in if you wait but I just got it and havent figured out the thing yet, but I figured it was sometime of options thanks for the info though guess Ill have to do some more explorer, any idea how to do it?
Nightshade Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 You need to go into the menu option and find the feature that lets you turn it off. When I leave for work tonight I'll figure out how it's done and I'll tell you exactly how to do it. I would reccomend to keep it on so you can remove the faceplate so it doesn't get stolen. tacomabanga1986 Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 turn it off, hold down the middle button till the functions menu pops up like how u set the clock, and go to security mode or somethin like that or face open and cut it off and it wont do that no more, its easy just look under teh functions menu while headunit is off and it should say somethin bout opening, hope this helps here's a link to my system 99 toyota tacoma , 2 mtx 8000 1504's in a sealed downfire , 1000w memphis amp here's a link to my other system my 90 geo prizm test car heres a thread i got of new songs u can dl that are legal = Some Good Bangage/you Can Dl These Free And Legit
tacomabanga1986 Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 well i quit takein my faceplate off cause on my 680 the faceplate started actin up so i left it on and i aint got a case for my 860 so i just keep it on, i thought the constant on n off would mess up that plate behind the headunit were the connections are made and prolly keep some of the stuff from workin but im not sure, now if u want to take it off u can still cut that off n hit open when u take the key out and it will still open up to 10seconds after the ignition has been turned off here's a link to my system 99 toyota tacoma , 2 mtx 8000 1504's in a sealed downfire , 1000w memphis amp here's a link to my other system my 90 geo prizm test car heres a thread i got of new songs u can dl that are legal = Some Good Bangage/you Can Dl These Free And Legit
