I had two of these at one point with a completely stock electrical system with 4AWG. I dont know how you're drawing so much! These amps are very efficient.

You should just slowly upgrade your electrical. NEVER let your voltage go below 12! Start with another battery, but not a shitty one. Buy a good one we recommend. Maybe a small Kinetik or Powermaster

And as for the other question, sell your body. It worked for me.

If you have any more questions about Memphis products, I've had them all.

For better understanding, here were my electrical setups:

(1) MCD1000 on 2 M3s- Stock, 4AWG

(2) MCD1000s on 4 M3s- Stock, then added 2 batteries 2AWG

(3) MCD1000s on 12 PRs - 200A alternator 2 extra batteries 1/0 AWG

(4) MCD1000s on 4 MOJOs - 200A alternator 5 batteries total 1/0 AWG

(2) MCD4KWs on 32 10s - 300A alternator + 4 Kinetik HC2400s 4x 1/0AWG

And I've had experience with other stuff from them too. Hopefully that gives you an idea of what you need.

So you think i would be ok with somethin like an optima red top under the hood or would that not be enough with just one? right now my battery is a regular old interstate that is defenetly in need of replacing now that it is cold. other than that i only have a memphis capacitor on it.

Yeah, 1000wrms should be fine off a single decent battery.
