Right click the folder you want to share, go to "Sharing and Security", hit the checkbox next to "Share this folder on a network." Make sure the two computers you're sharing the files between are under the same workgroup name. mrrairai Posted December 3, 2008 Report Share Posted December 3, 2008 Run the network setup wizard on XP and set your network name first. Then on your vista computer go into Control Panel then System and then under Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings click Change setting and then another box will open and under computer name you'll have to click Change again and type in your network name. Make sure all firewalls are off before you do this.
