GORILLAslap Posted December 10, 2008 Report Posted December 10, 2008 like say one day im gonna go to a bass race comp they say u cant start ur music before the timer do they let u fast forward a song to the bass part an pause it till the timer starts??? an i want to like test a bunch of songs to be ready with the song before i go to the bass race can u do that with a o-scope??? Term lab will tell you SPL and frequency. an O-scope will not do that and would not be useful for you at all. You can cue the song wherever you like. There is also an SPL meter that interfaces with a digital multi meter. It is a pressure sensor like the Term Lab and reads close to it but not exact. But it only tells you SPL. the TermLab will tell you peak frequency and at what frequency the song is playing at and you can actually test a bass race run and measure your 30 second average. Theres no beating that.
