and this is the wiring diagram for my 2000 ford explorer

wiring.jpg

i already mounted the brain, the siren and the shock sensor.

also wired them.

i haven't wired the horn, parking lights and the doors. i need help on this.

the wiring is kinda confusing.

for the horn, it says that the wire is negative and must use a relay, how will i wire a relay with a negative wire?

for the parking lights, do i just choose which wire polarity i will hook up from my car and just set the jumper? how will i know if the parking lights exceeds 10 amps and needs a fuse?

i'm totally confused on how to wire the doors. don't need the triggers just need the unlock and lock feature.

i suck at this..

thanks in advance to anyone that can help!

The outputs on your alarm for the door locks should be negative, I would try hooking them straight up to the wires that are listed above for doorlocks(test them first of course).... this works with DEI units... if the pulse will be strong enough with your scytek, idk.

Why are you hooking up horn wire, if you have the siren under the hood? anyways that should also be a negative trigger... just hook it straight up. Most of the time these negative triggers are just activating a relay... so you don't need a relay to activate a relay.

I would hook the positive parking lights up at the switch... shouldn't exceed 10amps... if you are really worried get negative in the kick panel.

Sorry it took so long to respond, been busy at the shop. Post up if you have any other questions.
