Need Help!

ok, so we got an accord in here with MFG date of 08/08, and i cant find anything on how to take the dash outta them. Has anyone done one of know anything about them??

What do you need to get out?

does it have dual climate control?

navi?

are you doing a deck or something else?

The lower portion comes out like 03-07 accord, ie:

not an ashtray/ashtry.....2 screws, then the lower pocket or cd changer portion will come straight out, then you have old civic style 8mm bolts going straight up

into the bottom of the radio assy.

Very stiff retaining clips going around the outside of the radio assy, ....(mother-bitches)

If all else fails, just go to your tool box and grab the Kia radio removal key .

its got the screen on top of the dash, not sure about dual climate controls, and i eed to get the stock radio out.

so those 8mm bolts dont let the radio loose??

grab the deck from the bottom near the back and pull stright forward.

what is tight??

does the bottom start to come loose??

GOT I!!!

he pulling fro the bottom and back worked. it was a little tough but i got it out intact
