Siete_Cinqo
.375 x 2.5 x 48 How does the amperage rating on buss bars work? I know they usually have a table chart rating that goes by the thickness and width but how do you factor in the length of the bar? Derrick824
Seeing how there will be a battery attached every 8" or so, current rating for the length won't really be an issue.

Wont be an issue because of the thickness of the bar? Reason I'm asking is because im about to throw 4 alts in a tahoe that will add up to about 1,000 amps and I wanted a bar that is going to handle that current with no issues. The one I was looking into was a bar .25x1 that is rated at 450 amps. But does the amperage increase with length of the bar or does it weaken cuz I was thinking of ordering them in lengths of 48''. So (.25x1x48) Quote Random vids of the Avalanche My link Team Bass-Hz
