There are cars using 2 10s with 3" coils that are louder on one amp than this setup will ever be. With the power that ur running you would probably be louder with a 3" coil woofer. well i like playing my subs for longer than 3 seconds at 60 hz so i think ill stick with my 4.25" coiled woofers and in the future i may possible be adding more power so no point in running 3" coils in my eyes for this setup but i understand where you are coming from the effencey(sp) factor but like my buddy rose-villian said i dont build to play farts i dont have an intrest in it Roseville, CA

zfrerichs Posted July 3, 2009 Author Report Posted July 3, 2009 the soundstream 5" coil is used in there shallow mount subs so when your making a shallow mount you cant have a long coil like a regular sub so what they did was make it alot wider and shorter to get the same amount of copper on the coil and i need some funding before i can get everything working Roseville, CA
