CrashHole
I need some advice guys. I have a 06 pt cruiser with stock battery/altenator. The kicker 1000.1 is sucking the life out of everything. Testing at the pos/neg on the amp, I am around 14v at idle. Turn up the volume and I am dropping down to 11.8-12.2volts. I know I need to get a upgraded alt, but from who? On the battery, I am thinking about just buying the optima red top 1000 cranking amp battery. I know alot of guys suggest yellow top, but thats a bit out of my range. What I need to know is, should I just replace the battery under the hood with the optima, or keep the battery under the hood and use the optima in the rear? No matter how hot she is, someone, somewhere, is sick of her shit. 99 Tahoe: 2-10" MA Audio 4-6.5" Kenwood door speakers Total Amp Sony HU
