Getting That Resting Voltage Up

Guest DC Power Kyle

Recommended Posts

like right now, i have all my bats sitting in my room on a 2amp charge, i'm on day two with it and they arelooking great, i'll have them on the charger for about 12 more days. and let them sit in my room till its time to put back in car, then i'll throw them on the charger for a few days so they are good, then they will get a good overnight charge once a week. only so i can get more power and gain just a lil bit on the meter.

Resting voltage just lets you see what your batteries are doing and if they are holding and/or getting a full charge. This is the main reason low resting voltage means your chits not charged is all. 12.8v resting is about 90-95% charged. 13v would be full. 13.3v where mine rest is like topping off your gas tank till you reach the cap then one more click.

You can tell alot about your systems performance by its resting voltage as well.
