Ernesto
The basket reminds me of the DD subs... Never heard one of those subs though (sub in link).
Pokey
Scratchy runs them, although not the same series. They look pretty decent though. How much is a recone kit though??
stevh0
converted to $ .. about $
Pokey
Ok, well since I've never had to do a recone...anyone else got an opinion on the price for his??? If that amount of $$$ isn't too much, and you'd rather recone it, instead of buying a new sub and still needing to get a recone kit for that one later...just get the recone kit and enjoy the sub you have now. stevh0
i also have a 1015a DD :waaa:
Pokey
Well since the 10 series DD is the lowest of the DD line.....and they Solar Audio you have is their top of the line sub....I'm betting that the SA may still be a better bet than the DD1015a. Not sure about that but, I'd still recone the SA....compare the two subs and sell the one you don't like.
Ernesto
$90 for a recone is pretty good...Most recones are $100+
David
$90 for a recone is pretty good...Most recones are $100+ agreed thats pretty decent price
Pokey
Well that's three for a recone and none for scrapping it. Let us know which one you think is better.
