11BangBang
I am putting a 2/3 drop on my Tahoe. It has huge back shocks. Its 2WD, with towing package. The new shocks are alot smaller. Is it going to be a problem. The kit is a ground force 9917. bassbaker15
it shouldnt be a problem... if you use stock shocks that are bigger and meant to be longer, you ride will be still as hell. that why they give you new ones to give it a smoother ride while still rolling low. 11BangBang
Yeah bump stops had to be trimmed I have not heard of anybody going more than 5 inches in the back, so that is probably pretty close to max Quote 2001 Tahoe Alpine IVA-W505 2 OPTIMA's RED/YELLOW DUAL ALTs 140/220 (2) HIFONICS BXI1280D (1) HIFONICS ZXI6408 (4) ALPINE SPR-13S 5.25 (4) ALPINE SPR-17S 6.5 (2) KICKER 15L7 at 1 ohm 4.5 CUBIC@38HZ

11BangBang
is this kit crap?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/lowering-ki...sQ5fAccessories That kit will work but it doesnt come with shocks or sway bar spacer, you will need shocks to keep the springs from falling out when truck is jacked up, I got my ground force kit on jegs, for about 450.00. That is about a 100.00 less than any other place I found. Truck actually rides smoother with the drop on it. It is the Ground Force 9917 Kit.
