I'm sure there is someone on here who might know better than me, but that would be my guess. If it was a company like DC or RE and the subs blew in a week with 100 watts rms over rated, I would be confused, but with boss, I can see it happening even at rated power, especially if there was any clipping whatsoever.

x2 100% the subs are going

i'm simply going to say, my amp is 2 ohm stable, had my sub wired to 2 ohms on the dot, ran it hard, voice coils heated up, and shrunk, now i check the ohm load and i'm getting 1.3

if he has a dmm or something to read ohm loads check the ohm load
