MTX_Freak Posted January 15, 2009 Author Report Posted January 15, 2009 yeah, ive got stock speakers, i have two boss door speakers that would probably fit the front doors, but idk, and the budget would probably be around 100-150. Quote
abxx49 Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 Well I would save up until you can afford speakers and and amplifier and then repost. Amplifying stock speakers would be a waste in my opinion. Quote
MTX_Freak Posted January 15, 2009 Author Report Posted January 15, 2009 aight man, thank you so much for your help. Quote
Torres Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 You are right about the cutting of signal, but it still over powers it. clipping doesnt overpower a speaker. the amp tries to overpower itself. a clipping 500 watt amp on a 2000 watt sub wont overpower the sub. the amp itself is straining trying to put out more power than it can. clipping doesnt blow the speakers either. the added heat is what blows them http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=315581 Quote
