eliassami5 Posted January 15, 2009 Report Share Posted January 15, 2009 Im looking to get another 4 channel amp for my mids and highs but on the cheap, ive got a max of $150ish to spend. Right now im running an Alpine MRP-F300 (50watts rms x 4 at 4ohms) and it's just not loud enough anymore. Im not looking for the best sq out there but i dont want it to sound like shit when i turn it up either, just want it to be semi loud and still sound ok i guess. So i was lookin to get this Crunch GP4100 since it's pretty cheap and does 100watts x 4 at 4ohms, i know it prob wont do the rated power but thats even better since 100 watts is too much for my alpine type R's anyway so i can worry less about blowing the 3 that i have left lol. Also saw this Hifonics TXi 6406 amp, looks to be better quality than the Crunch but since they are both made by the same company i dunno how much better it'll be. And the 80watts x 4 is perfect for the speakers im running. Any suggestions on what amp's are good for that kind of money would be great, thx.
