Guest
rca's, speaker wire? edit: you can also open up the amp and look for little burnt spots Edited January 17, 2009 by Krannyman92
jstuntndagsxr
all the wires are good. i hooked it up in my other vehicle to test it. so i know everything is good. i did open it up. everything seems ok. could it be a resistor or something. and is there any way i can test the guts? i just want to try to avoid taking it to a shop
Boon
i just want to try to avoid taking it to a shop Stolen? :01nocomment8so: If it didn't work in another vehicle then the amp is definitely broken somewhere. Probably in the output section if it's not smoking and or protecting. I worked on an amp once that popped it's relay drive circuit so the whole amp worked but it wouldn't turn on the speaker outputs so it could be something little like that. Without an O-Scope or a lot of knowledge about amps it's impossible to tell what the problem might be if nothing's visibly burnt. Quote 10.x volts fo' life!
