I have a 1995 Nissan PAthfinder which doesn't like me. I wanted to start the engine it doesn't. It seems likes it want to start but its choking. Is it 19F and is it due to the cold. The car is parked outside

It could very well be due to cold.

If you can get the vehicle started and drive it to an autoparts shop (Like AUTOZONE perhaps) they can LOAD test it and find out if it's good/bad.

Other than that, maybe upgrade to a battery w/ more COLD CRANKING AMPS. More ability to crank in low temps.

Also make sure the battery in the vehicle has as many or more CCA's than the stock batt. Lots of times folks will go the cheap route and not even have a battery in there as good as the stock one, underrpowered for the vehicle, AND THEN start dumpin more electrical strain on it by adding a system.

The flash point of gasoline is bout -97F, meaning that it will still burn at 97 degrees below zero.

Even the -97F mark is gona vary, based on the additives in teh gas.

If there's any water mixed in with the fuel, it can still freeze at around 32F, but that may depend on if there are any alcohols mixed with teh gas.

Methyl alcohol is a common additive u can buy to help keep water in your gas tank from freezing at low temperatures.  :gun:
