banginAltima
I had the same problem with me 85 Mustang. The alternator would stay "on" and kill the battery quick. I had a wiring issue deep in the dash and never fixed it. I bought a one wire hook up Powermaster alt. and just bypassed the problem. But from what I understand there is a wire that turns the alt. on or energizes it. Thats your issue Edit: I bet if you touch your alt. even if the engine has not run it will be hot. If you build it, db's will come... NSPL World Record Holder Trunk 0-1800 watts---147.9 with 1722 clamped watts @ 40Hz(9-20-09). Kian
iight I'm back. i just tested my front battery and it was reading @ 12.35 volts i disconnected my other 2 battery's just so i can jump my self in the morning if i have to.. but i really cant say its "on" because i was driving it about 2 hours ago. and to me it's around the same temp as my engine is. I will check later today. When i first installed the alt i ran the 0 gauge from batt to alt with fuse, but i never grounded my alt. i grounded it earlier today. Also for my alt plug, i guess it bypasses the internal reg. but i have a the new plug going into my old plug. when i turn up the voltage regulator it reads around 14.7 volts so i know i bypassed it right. --------------------------------------------------------------- Club 150 (15x.x) Youtube Future Build: 1x 15" T3 TSNS 2x Sundown Audio SAZ3000d Parellel strapped

Kian
So i pretty much think i have it figured out. Whenever i plug these in for my voltage regulator my volt drop. when i unplug it my volts go up. there's the pick. --------------------------------------------------------------- Club 150 (15x.x) Youtube Future Build: 1x 15" T3 TSNS 2x Sundown Audio SAZ3000d Parellel strapped
