Will the stereo be for street beating or a spl burp car? At least you will want a 2 larger batteries, such as a powermaster d3100s, or kinetik hc-2400. At least a 200+ amp alternator. And a good run of 1/0 gauge power wire. By good I mean Kicker, rockford knukonceptz, Stinger. Bad or cheaper 1/0 you better do at least 2 runs (db link, schosce). Big 3 wire upgrade under the hood. That is the minimum Id personally reccomend, maybe a upgraded battery under the hood too.

That is the minimum Id personally reccomend, maybe a upgraded battery under the hood too. it would be my daily driver and it would be wired to 1ohm and for right now i really dont plan on competing but the other problem im having is that its a 2006 chevy impla and i cant find anything that fits the car for a bigger alternator

A high output 200+ amp alt isnt something your gonna find at autozone for $100, be prepared to spend $400+ on the alt. but if you cant find a alternator, Im gonna say another big battery to back the amp up. If you run out of power you may fry your amp which is never good. And remember it takes power to make power. Then your going to have to make sure your alt will make enough power to charge the batteries. General rule is each additional battery will require 10 amps to charge. What amp are you going to be using?
