what happen where did evey1 go... im still here awaiting ideas

It's your first setup? Order ya a head unit and make sure it has at least two sets up preamp outs. Look into something simple, get a pre-fab, pre-amped rockford or kicker box w, 2 12"s or something. Get some coaxials for your doors and amplify a couple 6x9"s for the rear deck. I'd also get someone who knows a little more about installation and fabrication to help you out if you're planning on doing all the install yourself, you can do plenty with a grand, you aren't going to get anything SUPER loud. You're 17 though and u wanna impress ur friends, just check the above out, and if you decide you that'll work for you order, install and impress. Be complacent with your stuff but don't get greedy until you have bookoo funds, lol.

He said he already has a pioneer head unit.

Id say if you want something that sounds nice, get a loaded box already, and some components to match, and you should be alright for now.

EDIT: Didnt realize you say you already have 5 w0s. Not sure what youre gonna do from there.

As for interiors, just look around the forum as to what others are using. The only components Ive ever used were beymas, but that may be out of your proce range, so just get a feel for what others are using, and get an amp to match, you'll be under your budget.
