i need prices for alternators for my 99 dodge durango 5.2l v8 slt i need to upgrade the alternator, and eventually get a new battery + one i have 3 dc audio lvl4 15's, right now being incredibly under powered not sure what amps i want to get but i need to get an alternator first, was thinking about going with audio pipe amps. just post prices for alternators descriptions/specs please, or PM me information thanks

thank you very much for the input, and yea i realized you can only chose two with what you said. Do you think two yellow tops would do it? One in front and one in back, with a high output alternator. Im going to have to msg one of the guys from DC power to get a quote about an alternator. Also i think for now im going to stick with the Power Acoustiks amp at least until i beef up my alternator and electrical. No big three isn't done as of right now. I was planning on doing that along with the alternator install. I also need to redesign my box badly, the box i have right now is built to spec, just not done entirely the correct way. I should have reinforced it better, and made it more solid, and i realize that now. With the sound deadening, I will probably do that after i beef up the electrical. i think my problem was that i wanted to bump right away and figured i would get around to doing it the right way, when i should have done it the right way from the beginning that way i didn't have to go back and basically do it all over again like i have to do now. oh well i guess ill learn from my mistake. If i get the dimensions of my cargo area, and give someone a ruff idea on how i want the box designed, can someone design me a box fo' free? I'm not looking for some completely outrageous design, just a basic width height depth slot port area cut out dimensions for 2 15" DC audio lvl 4's and cubic feet if no one is willing to help me out for free maybe we can come up with some kind of paypal agreement

yea i was looking for more of an opinion on things i should get to better the trucks overall sound, apperance, electrical basically just ideas, products anything really im very interested in sound deadening, and alternators as of right now cause that's what i need most..

whats going on guys, i have a 99 durango that already has 2 15" DC audio lvl 4's, thats being powered by a power acoustik thats 1800 watts rms @ 2 ohms, i built the box my self, and it worked fine for a while. now i feel its the time to rebuild the box there for i need a new subwoofer box design, and im going to build it correctly. i also just ordered 2 sets of infinity kappa 60.9cs and an amp to power them as of right now i need a new alternator, im looking for something in the 450$-550$ range also im in need of some sound deadening, id like to get some on the doors, and cover all of the rear end or atleast what rattles... please give me any advice you guys can come up with it would be a lot of help here are a few pictures of what the truck looks like as of right now, with stock door panel speakers and my shitly made subwoofer box

i love my dc's... and i know he wants the DC's ... personally i think he was gonna go with the PA's purely for price... by the way they are the older model fubr's i believe i have a topic on here somewhere with some pictures of them

it was a somewhat serious question ive never screwed with PA's... and i own DC's my friend just wanted to know what he should go with.. the kid for some reason has the desire to be louder then me... and im not that loud at all. i have 2 dc audio lvl 4 15s on 1800 watts in a durango he has a 95 escort and has to be louder then me no matter waht the cost lol

what do you guys think would be louder i know in essance the 2 15's should be louder since its more cone area and more combined wattage but one of my friends seems to think that the dc should be louder the 2 15's are only 300 bucks which is a bit cheaper then the DC's but what are your guys opinions

i might have to upgrade to some xl's where im at right now is good but 3k on a 1500 watt sub.. i bet that thing bangs hard and o-scopes are hard to find where i live but after watching meades video's on amp gain i need to find me one of them soon
