Stephen Posted January 25, 2009 Report Posted January 25, 2009 My dad figured out that the water heater runs just about all the time so he went out and bought a timer. The only problem is its a SPST and of course the water heater is 220v. I read a little bit on the timer and supposedly it only switches of 1 of the hot lines going to the heater. Will the water heater still try to come on with only 110v going to it? this is the timer thanks Quote you can cook bacon shirtless if you're not a pussy...lol not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be.
