No if I meant turn your gains all the way up, I wouldv'e said that,and adjusting your gains accordingly, means listen while your tuning your gains and using your head. Everybody's app is different, but a sub will tell you when it doesn't like the way your tuning your gains. Also, by turning it up as much as you want until your satisfied (if your like me) means that you have adjusted it up as much as you can for a safe break-in period, than after a while re-adjust the gains because the sub has been broken in.
