yea 33hz is alot better thats why i was telling you 36 since you said between 36-38 if you are competing those around 36 would be fine but if your just trying to get crazy deep sound cleaner around 33 is the way to go it should pound

38hz tuning is fairly high.

Are you going for output over massive lows?

38Hz is not high.. tuning at 38Hz you can still pick up lows and theyll be clear and nice output

It really depends on your definition of lows, I consider 25hz and under low.

Personally I like a system that is as loud at 20hz as it is at 50hz, my last 4 systems have played very flat so all notes of Bass I Love You played perfectly. True this is not needed so much for for regular music but I love my uber lows.

My systems are usually tuned in the mid 20's, high tuning in the mid 30's nearly always loose output in the 20's unless you have massive displacement.

well the playlist of songs on my ipod i screwed them all so there from 40 to 28 hz

Well most normal music (not slowed or C&S) is barely ever below 40Hz on average.. yea youll get you songs that hit in the 30s well but hardly ever do you see anything below in realistic terms.. I usually tune between 36-38Hz.. yea i love my uber lows too but most songs dont have em and alot of my music well play above 40Hz so were I tune is about right to pick up both and get loud output at a broader range.. my .02

32-33hz should be fine!

Eric B: As dt64 wants output 28hz to 40's for his chopped and screwed tracks, tuning the enclosure to 38hz means he will be below port tuning on most notes, not good really.
