Got a question about installing a keyless entry alarm & remote start system on my friends 93' honda del sol. He wants keyless entry, but right now the car doesn't have power locks. I'm wondering if anyone knows whether or not the doors have the wiring for the electric motors so that all id have to do is go get some and pop them in? thanks :D

most manufacturers do put the wiring harnesses in the vehicle. however, if you dont have power windows the chances are a lot slimmer that the harness will be there.  check in the rubber boot going to the doors.  if there is wiring in there, chances are they have the wires in it, if not good luck.  or just get the aftermarket kit for it.  they are just as easy to install.

ok thanks man, you know... I kinda feel dumb for not even thinking to check the rubber boots since the car has no power options. of course its not really like i can go out and just see cuz i gotta wait til he can stop by, but you da man mojo!
