audioman21 Posted January 31, 2009 Report Share Posted January 31, 2009 I have a 2001 Chevy Malibu with a 3.1 v6 that I'm currently working on. I want to do something with the exhaust but don't know anything about exhausts. Currently I've been researching this and so far it seems like a Flowmaster 44 is the way to go, though its hard to tell having to listen to it on a computer rather than in real life. I'm not trying to make this car sound like it has a fart can exhaust or a big v8 under the hood, I just want something that'll give it a real nice mellow tone. If not the Flowmaster 44 what would some of you guys suggest to get this kind of sound? Any suggestions? Mods, I apologize if I didn't put this in the right section. Mosin Posted January 31, 2009 Report Share Posted January 31, 2009 I'm sure that muffler would make your exhaust pretty loud. Not sure on how loud you want your Malibu.
