jonathancullen89 Posted February 3, 2009 Author Report Posted February 3, 2009 the box is tuned to 33hz but the car peaks at 47hz. 47hz hurts like a mofo, problem is with the windows rolled up the cd player skips like a mofo. there are some odds and ends things that i could to to make it louder, if i put a ratchet strap around my car to hold the doors from flexing (car is falling apard the doors flex in an out an inch lol) that might help. i know its a decent reading for the power i have, thats why i always go cone area. my first wall in my 92 probe sucked, i was really scatchy on trying it again. the first one i did in the cavy i didnt like, then i rebuilt, and again. then added more bracing. kept slowly getting louder each time i re-built. if i tuned higher im sure i could get that 150 i want, but blowing hair around is fun and i really hate fart cans xD Quote 1992 cavalier build 1992 blazer s10 kenwood cd hifonics hfi2500d 6 soon to be 12 12" hifonics hfi12d4's shit ton-o-wire Blurred Vision Audio Team SMD feedback/refs. clicky!-
