I have a factory touch screen nav and 4 guage wiring. My car also has factory upgraded speakers Im looking to upgrade. i want to buy just 1 18" dc lvl 4 with lvl 5 coils and a http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_12211_...+BXi+1608D.html or something to power it (feel free to suggest other ideas on amps) couple of questions : would i need a battery? And is the only reason your getting that amp cuz of the price? if you went ahead and got a sundown SAZ 1500, you would prolly be a little happier.. thats just my opinion.. c0smo kram3r Posted February 4, 2009 Report Share Posted February 4, 2009 I would suggest a better amp. The Hifonics does not put out rated power at all. That would be under powering them. Don't forget about fuses.
