[amp]

k? the positive to positive, the negative to negative, with wires of a proper gauge

run 0g from the front battery positive to the rear battery positive, run the rear battery negative to either a good chassis ground or the front batt negative (and do the big 3)

chassis ground is 10x easier

ya

Are you asking how to hook it up to the primary battery or to the amp?

there, updated diagram, hope it helps

and yes, + to + to +, -'s to -s or ground (which is negative by definition), its called parallel, it keeps everything at a constant voltage.

http://www.bcae1.com/ read through that site if youre going to be doing car audio stuff by yourself, it gives alot of the basics, terminology and formulas you use with electronics/acoustics/car audio

so something like this? wiring.jpg id only need a fuse between the 2nd batt and the amp right?

You also need to ground that amp either to chassis or to the negative terminal on the battery in the trunk. You should also fuse the 1/0 wire that goes from hood to trunk. Put a fuse within 18 inches of the battery on each end of the cable. so one fuse under the hood and one under the trunk. That way if that cable gets pinched and you ground that baby out, it won't start your car on fire.
