T-line Help

Recommended Posts

I did a t-line for an 8" MTX 4500, tuned it at 39Hz.... Nice!!! The response is better that a sealed enclosure, and the power efficiancy is amazing. !00 watts in an Envoy doing like 134.9 or something... Do it.

Like I said I have a sony in a t-line. Its just one I had lying around and wanted to use it till I get something better. I have no idea what is specs are, but some similar new models have a Qts of 0.48 and Qms 7.24. That being said, it sounds probably better than any setup ive had, from the range to its output at those ranges.

I say go for it. Doubt you will be dissapointed as long as you do your research.

ive got them in a pretty nice ported box thats tuned right for the subs (my cousin built it and he didnt remember what its tuned to), and they sound decent, and get ok loud, but id like a little more low end.

but from what you've said, the qts probably wont effect me too much, so i'll probably end up trying it.

edit: if you would, PLEASE draw me up a box plan, ive sat here with paint, sketchup, a ruler, some paper, and a pen and i just cant seem to get it right.

let me get my mouse and i will open cad.... :)

edit: worse than anything, back of a mini van!

i dont think you can, even if you can the pole vent is right there so it wouldnt gain but like a 1/4" of space or less.
