qu1cks1lver56 Posted May 11, 2010 Report Posted May 11, 2010 Hey Kasey, the hoe's looking good man. With the Niteshades, you said it comes out dull and shitty looking, but do you think it'd look better if you sprayed a coat or 2 of clear on top of it? I never gave it any chance.. the Rustoleum stuff I used came out glossy from just paint, no clear coat but technically speaking a clear coat should make it glossier Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
MileSwimmer4444 Posted May 11, 2010 Report Posted May 11, 2010 so you just shot a couple coats of the gloss black on the tails after some wet sanding? 4 - 15 Sundown Z v.2 @ 35Hz 2 - AP3000D 2 - RF Power Punch 6.5 Comps 2 - RF Power Power 1 - Kinetic KHC2000 3 - Kinetic KHC2400 Iraggi 300A Knu Wiring
thehoe92 Posted May 11, 2010 Author Report Posted May 11, 2010 so you just shot a couple coats of the gloss black on the tails after some wet sanding? just regular dry sanding with a disc sander and 220 grit until everything was smooth and I saw no more scratches then cleaned with paint thinner, let it dry then shot just enough paint to where I couldn't see the red underneath and no more than that! Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
